  A decade ago, three businessmen decided to revolutionize the plant nutrients and hydroponics industry.

  The trio- Michael Straumietis, Robert Higgins, and Eugene Yordanov- already had extensive combined experience in business, marketing, horticulture, and engineering when they founded Canadian Soiless Ltd in 1996.

  After its founding, Canadian Soiless was at first a retailer-wholesaler of equipment and nutrients made by other manufacturers. As the partners listened to customer feedback and researched the products they were selling, they realized these products were not specifically or properly engineered for the high-value crops grown by their customers.

  So, in 1998, they founded Polar Bear Manufacturing Ltd., a company that makes innovative, professional equipment such as heat exchangers, fans, blowers, C02 dispensers, and climate monitoring systems.

  Aptus-Holland nu vinde apa sau produse diluate. Toate produsele sunt concentrate si nu sunt diluate suplimentar. In acest mod, pretul pe litru poate sa para mai mare decat suntem obisnuiti. Insa cu un litru de produs Aptus se pot realiza de pana la 25 de ori mai multi litri de solutii de nutrienti. Acesta este motivul pentru care solutiile noastre se vand de regula in sticlute mici. Insa chiar si cu 100ml de produs Aptus clientii pot prepara mai multi litri de nutrienti decat cu flacoane mai mari, de 1 litru sau de 5L, ale competitorilor nostri. Asta face ca produsele Aptus sa fie de fapt extrem de economice. Un avantaj suplimentar este acela ca se reduce foarte mult costul transportului - pentru ca nu trebuie expediata si apa.

Cand se folosesc ingrediente active de inalta calitate si efect, sunt necesare doze mai mici de produs, pentru ca ele se vor absorbi aproape in totalitate. Problema nu este sa hranim planta mai mult, ci sa-i oferim ingredientele potrivite la momentul potrivit.

  It is only a few decades ago that (mainly Dutch) greenhouse growers were looking for an alternative growing medium that would be able to satisfy their stringent conditions. Stonewool, already known for being an extremely effective insulation material, was only one of the basic materials that they experimented with. However, from the start, stonewool showed that it was evidently the most successful alternative for cultivation in the open ground.
  
  Even at this early stage, Saint-Gobain Isover, which has manufactured mineral wool since the Sixties, was aware of the opportunities in the greenhouse sector.
  
  An experimental phase, in which the possibilities were investigated, was followed by goal-oriented science-based research. Step by step, a special stonewool was developed that could successfully compete with cultivation in the open ground. This started the development that would have far-reaching consequences for growers worldwide.
  
  The substrate was a great success, and so a separate company was soon founded for its production, processing and distribution. This company was called Saint-Gobain Cultile`ne. From the start, the company has focused specifically on developing and manufacturing rockwool products that are completely tailored to use in greenhouse cultivation.
  
  After that, developments gain momentum; Cultile`ne grows and develops just as prosperously as the crops on the products it supplies to the market, which in turn enables growers and gardeners to be successful in their markets.

  How we work

  Our cannabis seeds are organically produced and contain all the necessary trace elements for a good start. We work with strict criteria regarding the pollination of our plants. Our pollination rooms are secure so that no stray pollen from other male plants can find their way into our select stock. Pollen filters are used in all our grow rooms. As the moment of pollination is very important, we carefully schedule all pollinations to prevent seeds of inferior quality. After the production of seeds, we select only the best seeds by hand, and leave out the premature and non-fertile ones. We then test these seeds on viability and germination. This way we can guarantee you will always get fresh, living seeds that are sure to grow top-quality plants.

  About the quality of our cannabis seeds

  The cannabis seeds you get from Paradise are the real deal! They will produce the exact same quality strains you can read about in our descriptions and see in our photos for that specific variety. We don’t sell second-best. Some people believe that the cannabis seeds they buy are not originals. This may be true of some seed vendors who sell copies of renowned strains.   More then 25 cups have been won by Paradise Seeds in several cannabis cups since 1999, as well as some honourable mentions, such as Plant of the Year 2003 for Sensi Star (High Times magazine). Cannabis cups are not the only proof of this – so are the hundreds of customer reports we receive each year that speaking highly of our cannabis strains.

  Most of our varieties are strong, vigorous F1 cannabis hybrids, the result of crossing stable strains. These strains are developed to grow indoors, except for Sweet-purple, which was produced especially to grow outdoors in colder and humid regions. However, listening to the experience of many cannabis (marijuana) growers, we know they also perform great indoors or in a greenhouse. The other varieties can be grown outdoors in milder, sunnier regions, like France, Italy or Spain. In the varieties descriptions you can read the approximate harvest time when grown under the sun.

  Delta(9)tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is the main active ingredient of cannabis which provides the pleasant mind and body sensation described as a “high” or “buzz”. The higher the level of THC in a plant, the stronger its active effect. The given THC percentages are estimations. Since the plants are never grown under exactly the same conditions, the THC percentage can differ even in the same strains, but should always range between the given estimations for that particular strain. The highest THC percentage can be achieved from plants grown in optimum conditions.

  Also the size/shape of the buds and the yield can vary from time to time. The aroma and taste are also subject to change, all depending largely on the growing conditions. If the grower tends the garden with love and dedication, he or she will harvest fruity, tasty top-quality buds.

  History

  After 12 years of growing, testing and experimenting with many different cannabis varieties, Paradise Seeds was founded in 1994. About 25 years ago in Amsterdam, many coffeeshops started to sell imported hash from India Afghanistan or Morocco and weed from Thailand, Columbia, Mexico or Malawi. Most of this was of poor quality. But things were changing, new types were introduced from the U.S that were early crossbreeds of already higher quality. Since then we got involved in the early research for better quality strains. This took place in Amsterdam and at several outdoor locations in Holland. Our aim was to create better weed, with a sweet / spicy taste and stronger high, for our own use.

  This resulted in several new varieties and the cannabis seeds were given to a number of people to grow. Due to early pioneers such as ourselves, Dutch cannabis became the best in the world and growing got evermore popular. Also many foreign people realised Dutch cannabis was of the highest quality. They took seeds home, to grow for personal use. At that time our seeds found their way to the people at a local coffeeshop in Amsterdam.

  The demand increased and what started as research and experiments for personal knowledge and dedication to the Ganja bush, had become ‘Paradise Seeds’, a reputable seed bank, for growers that demand only genuine and finest quality cannabis seeds, marijuana seeds.
