CANNA Coco Natural is an organic product that is very lightly buffered and free of harmful viruses or soil diseases. CANNA Coco Natural has an excellent water / air system, that provides the ideal circumstances for this cultivation method. In addition, it naturally contains a special mold (Trichoderma) that protects plants against soil diseases. CANNA Coco Natural can be used a number of times.
Growers "BEST PRICE"
Being a “BEST PRICE” product means it’s affordable for everybody as a growing medium but also stands out from other Coco products.
Coco Natural is manufactured in the same way as Coco Professional Plus. The CANNA name appears on the bag, meaning that the very high quality ingredients are use to produce this Coco product.
The buffering of CANNA Coco Natural is not as heavy as Coco Professional Plus. Meaning that you have more control over the buffering process. If you would like to pre-buffer this Coco to the same level as its premium cousin it is worthwhile to have a look at the CANNA COGr Buffer Agent.
Due to the light buffering and also light pre-soaking this product is a lot lighter. (less water in the bag) This product weighs 11-12kg and is therefore easy to transport. You have a little more work in your grow room though by letting it soak in water a bit more.
All in all this is a very trustworthy Coco. Just not as easy to use as CANNA Coco Professional Plus. The choice is yours which of the two you prefer!

CANNA COCO Professional Plus
CANNA COCO Professional Plus is a top quality coco product that more than meets the strictest RHP standards. It distinguishes itself from other coco substrates by using first class raw materials and having optimum structure and purity. CANNA COCO Professional Plus consists of 45% wood cellulose which ensures that the physical characteristics are retained for a long time. The water/ air ratio is 73% / 23%. As well as this, a special procedure is followed for rinsing and buffering the coco flakes which are tuned to the needs of fast growing plants. This is necessary for achieving ideal growing conditions in the medium so that the plant can develop optimally from the start of cultivation.
Watering
Manually:
- Give water every day using special coco fertiliser.
Pot size: 4 litres minimum.
- Make sure the pots used are sufficiently large if it’s not possible to give water every day.
Automatically:
- Feed 4-6 times a day using special coco fertiliser.
Use
Approximately 5 litres of nutrient solution per m2 per day (for mature plants). For larger plants use pots of at least 5 litres; the larger the pot the more constant the root environment will be. Ensure that there is sufficient drainage (holes) and possibly use a layer of clay pebbles (CANNA Clay Pebbles) in the bottom of the pot to provide air and drainage.
